An encompassing theme in the campaign is to reveal the fact that Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis are chronic invisible illnesses. In order to creatively spread this message we will use magic through magicians who reveal things that are invisible. This is also a way to garner attention on the streets, news sources, as well as on social media. There will be a number of street magicians be in large cities around the US, like New York City, Miami, Chicago, Dallas, etc. This would include some big names like David Blaine and Dynamo among other less well-known magicians. It would be a surprise set up for those on the street. They would perform various magic tricks to entice a gathering. When they are at their finale they would do a sort of leave-behind on the message for the campaign. Something to ‘reveal’ the message. How they reveal is up to the magician, but it will be a leave behind that people can scan for more information taking them to the website.
