About
Leslie holds a Master’s of Fine Arts degree in Advertising from the Academy of Art University and is passionate about mentoring her students in the field of graphic design.
She is currently an Adjunct Professor of Art at Bethel University teaching Graphic Design courses. Her goal is to use her previous experience as an Art Director and Graphic Designer in teaching her students. She works with students individually to create successful portfolios and as they enter the workforce as a new designer.
She has over twenty years of design and marketing experience. Previously, she was an Art Director, at an advertising agency. Her expertise includes conceptualizing and executing a variety of marketing tactics, from web and print design to photo direction and production.

Adjunct Professor of Art
Provide instruction for the typography and graphic design classes at Bethel University. I interact with multiple students on a daily basis. The classes I teach introduce students to the Adobe software programs such as Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop as well as the graphic design industry as a whole. Design principles, as well as fundamentals of typography, are studied in depth. I developed the course content and assignments for all of my courses.

Provided instruction for Southern New Hampshire University. I interacted with multiple students daily in the fully-online environment. Responsible for monitoring student progress and assisting them in their established learning objectives. Through moderation and participation in the discussion boards, I connected with the students and encouraged critical thinking.

Goshen College
Assistant Professor of Art
Provided instruction for the graphic design classes at Goshen College. I interacted with multiple students on a daily basis. With my leadership in the department, the graphic design program grew. I created a proposal that was approved for a new computer lab dedicated to the graphic design students and their needs. I designed and developed the classroom with the needed technology as well as created spaces for students to house their design work and inspiration. I was able to bring in real-world design projects to my students where they were able to work with local businesses. I was building their portfolios with not only class project work, but actual client work as well.

Pathfinders Advertising & Marketing
Art Director
Responsible for a number of large-name clients and successfully managed and delivered their projects on time and with the highest level of client satisfaction. I have expertise in conceptualizing and executing a variety of marketing tactics, from web and print design to photo direction and production. I was the lead art director for client presentations as well. I worked on many national campaigns and was recognized with awards for two of these campaigns. I handled the art direction on multiple photoshoots for a variety of clients.
